About Me

Thanks to some friends, I first got into programming in high school. My first ever programming language was QBASIC. Since then I have completed a double degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and Computer Science at Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia and I am now working as a software engineer.

Other things that generally interest me include badminton, Korean and Japanese dramas, investing in shares and video games.

    Hi Kah:

I am new to Android programming.
I am trying to get “Adding Selection Functionality to the Table View” to work and I can’t.
I tried to download it and I get an error, so I copied it from the web page.

Currently, I am getting cannot be resolved to a type for:
    dataAdapter
    SelectionReceiver

    Also:
The type ListDisplay.RowHighlighter must implement the inherited abstract method
    View.OnTouchListener.onTouch(View, MotionEvent)

I feel there is something missing (like the data to initialize the display).

Can you send me/post a completed working version?

    thanks in advance.

    Sandy

    hi kah ,
I had a wonderful idea of writing a web page using javascript which transliterates hindi to english .
After writing every letter the page should update a lower window which translates into hindi .
How can I accomplish that ?
This way I can carry web page on my usb drive & use it on offline computer to write hindi .
